Liberal arts are one of the ancient most subjects in the world. It originated from the ancient Greek period when the Greek stalwarts like Homer and Sophocles believed that liberal arts were the highest form of education. Today the course of liberal arts includes subjects like English Literature, Philosophy, Social and Political Sciences. Any subject apart from the technical ones fall under the category of liberal arts. Liberal art courses in India are offered in various degree colleges and in Universities which offer Masters and doctorate degrees.
Liberal arts bachelor degree is offered at various colleges across India. The admission procedure varies in different colleges.
